I hold a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Photojournalism from Boston University. Additionally, I was trained in Art and Dance Therapy at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Attachment Focused Trauma Therapy.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I offer individualized and family counseling services from a relational psychotherapeutic approach. As an integrated clinician my treatment approach is deeply rooted in attachment, and I utilize the creative arts therapies in assisting clients to communicate inner challenges. As an adoptee in a mixed family of both biological and adopted children, working in the adoption field has given me the opportunity to share my own adoption story and search for identity. I draw upon my personal experience, and understand complex family systems, as well as the grief and loss surrounding adoption, divorce and the death of a family member.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one office in DUMBO and over sessions via Telehealth.
